A few words to sum up my season in Guatemala: awe and wonder, transition, fresh, sweetness, identity, growing pains, delightful, high highs, low lows, home.

The last 2 months have brought so much fruit and I am so grateful to the King for His abundant faithfulness. I would love to invite you into just a few sweet parts of this season (in the form of pictures)! Enjoy!

On Wednesdays, we got to do ministry in local villages with Aderkee and Mikayla (a sweet couple that does ministry in the Antigua area full time !). This was taken when we happened to stumble upon the sweetest little spot full of sunlight and butterflies and all things beautiful. One thing I love about Aderkee and Mikayla is that they use every opportunity to point to and praise Jesus, and this was one of those moments.

Galentine's day!! Such a sweet night for the woman of Gap I! Our SQLs threw us a movie night with treats and notes and all sorts of love; truly a night of laughs and smiles and pure friendship.

My friend (and sister) Ally got baptized! Taste the freedom !!

We spent our Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at an English school helping with classes and whatever else the teachers needed. The sweetest part of this ministry was hands down the students we got to pursue friendships with. This picture was taken after our last class where some students took a few teammates and me to dinner!

(and our school had a trampoline!)

Last but not least, ACATENANGO! Most of my squad hiked almost 6 hours (pretty much all steeply uphill might I add) to get to our campsite on top of the volcano. The hike was enough to make me go to bed at 7 p.m., but the view was absolutely jaw-dropping. Such a cool way to end this season, sitting in the glory and vastness of creation and remembering we were created by the same hands.

with the most love,

Lucy Lu
