I have been in Nsoko, Eswatini for about a month now, and it is so wildly different than anything I've experienced before. Equally uncomfortable and filling, hard and incredible. Our ministry is working in care points around Nsoko, which is where kids come to receive food and take weekly classes. Here is what the average day looks like!

7:00-8:00 a.m: Bible study, journaling, worship, whatever spending time with the father looks like that day !!

8:00: Breakfast with the gap i!

9:00: head out for the team with my ministry team (which here, is different than my normal team because of the needs of the ministry)

9:30-12: Care for the community (house visits, prayer, cleaning the care point, helping the cooks, etc.) Every day looks a little different, so you never really know what that day might look like. That kind of schedule is so fun but also definetly a challenge in flexibility:)

12-12:30: lunch! Pb and J babyyy

12:30- 4:30: Play and love on the kids as much as we can. This usually looks like a lot of circle chants, hair braiding, and holding sleeping babies (my personal favorite). I used to not be someone who would say they like kids, but the past month has really changed that for me. It's hard not to have a heart for the kids here when you see their smiles and feel their hugs. oh so precious!

4:30: Drive back to base

5-6: free time! I usually spend this time watercoloring, taking a walk, spending time with my squadmates, or reading.

6-7: dinna!

7-10: team time and free time before lights out at 10!

Life here moves slowly and is incredibly simple, both of which I never grew up desiring for my life, but have absolutely fallen in love with. I have never been more bored in my life, but I have also never seen such beauty in the small things as i can now. It is an absolutely beautiful way to end my race, and a wonderful cleanse before transitioning back into the hustle and bustle of life in the states!
